Can I order just the frame?
Yes, that’s possible. We want to make it easy to adjust or expand your setup. You can order individual frames directly on our website.
How do I assemble the frame?
You’ll receive a clear digital manual and video tutorial. The Allen key for assembly is included. In just a few minutes, your frame will be ready to hang. Pssst… would you prefer to look at an instruction booklet where each step is clearly explained? Then you can download it here.
What are the frame’s dimensions?
The frame is 27 mm deep and floats subtly off the wall. The visible edge is minimal – less than 2 mm – keeping the spotlight on your artwork.
What if my frame arrives damaged?
That’s never supposed to happen. But if it does, contact us within 2 days via hello@skiftart.com. Please include a clear photo of the damage and, if possible, the shipping box. We’ll make sure it’s taken care of.
How do I mount the frame to the wall?
Attach one at the top and one at the bottom for a secure hold. For larger sizes, place two mounts at the top of the frame for better balance, and use extra mounts at the bottom for added stability. Check our visual guide for step-by-step instructions.
Is the frame delivered pre-assembled?
No. To prevent damage, we ship the frame as a self-assembly kit. The parts fit together seamlessly, and with the included Allen key, assembly is quick and easy. No tools or skills required.
Can I order a canvas without a frame?
Absolutely. We believe art should adapt to your changing style, space or mood. That’s why we offer the option to order additional canvases separately at any time.
Can I lean the frame against the wall?
Yes, that’s possible for example, if you want a flexible setup. Just note that the frame won’t be fixed and could fall over if bumped.
Kan ik elk frame met een akoestisch paneel gebruiken?
Ja, absoluut. Elk Skift-frame is modulair en klaar voor akoestische upgrades. Of je nu vanaf het begin kiest voor demping of deze later wilt toevoegen — je hoeft je frame niet te vervangen.
How do I stretch the canvas into the frame?
The canvas has a rubber piping stitched along the edges. Simply press this into the metal grooves of the frame. Start with the corners for grip, then finish the sides. The result is a clean, tightly stretched canvas with no visible mounting. Not sure? We’ve got a clear instruction video ready for you.
I only received the canvas. Where is the frame?
Our products are crafted in different studios and shipped separately to avoid damage. This means your frame and canvas may arrive at different times. No worries – everything’s on its way.
