Assemble the frame
Step 1
Start with the longest side of the frame
We start with the longest side of the Skift frame. Slide a corner profile into the end and tighten it with the included Allen key. You will notice: as soon as you turn it, the profile clamps itself tightly.
Now take a short side and slide it onto the long side. Allen key on – a few turns – and it’s just as it should be.

Tip: Lay the frame flat on a table for a comfortable working height. Want to protect the surface? A towel underneath will prevent any scratches.
Step 2
Repeat and build.
Let’s move on to the next corner. Slide the corner profile into place, then attach the short side. Tighten it again, and voilà – time for the second long side. Click it into place with care.
Make sure the corners align tightly – the frame pieces should meet seamlessly, with barely a gap in sight.
Step 3
Almost there
Now for the final short side. Connect it to the remaining corners and tighten the last two profiles. Everything should now feel solid and aligned.
Step 4
Lock it in
Turn the frame around – or move to the open side. Mount the last short side in the two open corners, tighten it down, and you’re done.
A clean finish, all set in just a few minutes. Your frame is now ready to embrace your artwork.
Tip: Make sure all corners are pressed together tightly before tightening the screws — this helps keep your frame square and solid.

Step 5A (optional)
Wall mount option 1
Use the two wall brackets you’ve added to your order. Measure the inner width of your frame, and place the brackets at the same distance apart on your wall. Make sure they’re perfectly level – a spirit level helps.
Tip: Mark the bracket positions with a pencil, and hold the frame up to check if it fits nicely between the two.

Step 5B (optional)
Wall mount option 1
Place the frame onto the wall brackets. It should now hang neatly and securely.
Is the frame slightly off at the bottom because your wall isn’t entirely straight? No stress. You can order a third bracket or use a small screw underneath to keep it tight to the wall.

Step 6 (optional)
Wall mount option 2
Measure and mark the wall bracket position so it sits at the center of the frame. Attach it straight and level. Then, simply hang the frame.
Now add a second bracket to the bottom of the frame, also centered. Mark the holes, screw it in, and your frame will be solidly fixed in place.

Step 7 (optional)
Add the sound-absorbing panels.
Place the acoustic panels inside the frame, with the harder side facing the wall.
Tip: If a panel doesn’t stay put, use a bit of double-sided tape to help it stick.
Attach the canvas
Step 1
Position the canvas
Lay the canvas face-up on a table or hang it vertically against the wall – both options work. For this guide, we’ve placed it on a table.
Never push the cords into the frame with sharp objects. Use your hands or a soft plastic spatula to avoid damaging the fabric.
Step 2
Start with the corners
Place the artwork on the frame and begin by pressing one corner of the cord into the groove. Follow the edge to the next corner and press the long side into place as well.
Step 3
Final touch
Attach the last two corners of the canvas. Once all sides are in, run your fingers along the edges to ensure everything is firmly pressed. If you spot a bump or a loose spot, gently lift that section and reinsert it for a perfect fit.
Is there a paper manual in the box?
No, we’ve chosen to go fully digital – less paper, less waste. After your order, you’ll receive an email with direct links to all manuals and videos.

How do I install the panels?
Place the panel between the frame and the canvas. The canvas stretches tightly over it and holds the panel in place. Want to mount it directly to the wall? You can use double-sided tape – the canvas provides stability.

I only received the canvas. Where is the frame?
Our products are crafted in different studios and shipped separately to avoid damage. This means your frame and canvas may arrive at different times. No worries – everything’s on its way.

Where can I find the technical specifications?
Looking for the exact data and figures? You can easily download the technical datasheet over here as a PDF. Everything clearly organized.
Can I clean the panels?
Absolutely. The panels are resistant to UV, moisture and most cleaning agents. That makes them a worry-free option, even in lived-in spaces.
Can I order a canvas without a frame?
Absolutely. We believe art should adapt to your changing style, space or mood. That’s why we offer the option to order additional canvases separately at any time.
How do I stretch the canvas into the frame?
The canvas has a rubber piping stitched along the edges. Simply press this into the metal grooves of the frame. Start with the corners for grip, then finish the sides. The result is a clean, tightly stretched canvas with no visible mounting. Not sure? We’ve got a clear instruction video ready for you.

What if there are folds in the canvas?
Your canvas is delivered folded. Don’t worry... once stretched into the frame, the folds usually disappear on their own. Based on our experience, this happens within 48 hours. Still visible after two days? Just reach out to us and we’ll help you out.
Can I iron the canvas?
There’s no need. Once tensioned in the frame, the folds smooth out naturally. If they don’t, feel free to contact us – we’re happy to assist.
Is the canvas fire-retardant?
It is. Safety matters to us, and this canvas meets the required fire-retardant standards.
